Sharing experience on innovative electricity and heating supplies – From waste management to resource management – Sustainable water supplies and sewage disposal – Urban development – Mobility concepts Local communities and cities will change. Among others, issues relating to sustainability, renewable energy utilisation and alternative transport concepts that take into account electromobility will have an impact on urban development.

The “Green Cities Forum” will address this transformation and will focus on the following topics:
• innovative electricity and heating supplies for municipalities and commercial facilities/ industrial estates,
• using resources and recycling,
• sustainable water supplies and sewage disposal,
• urban development,
• electromobility.
It shall be discussed where this development is heading in lectures and workshops that will include, for example, climate protection representatives from local authorities and companies, engineering and planning offices as well as from urban planners and municipal administrations as well as municipal utility companies and building societies. As part of the lecture programme, one of the EnEff:Stadt pilot projects – the integrated district energy concept for Karlsruhe-Rintheim – will also be presented with the latest findings.
