16th German Specialist Conference of Municipal Energy Commissioners

Abstract
Date: 21-22 March 2011
Location: Goslar
Because they act as a role model, local communities and rural districts can help counter climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Municipal energy management is very closely tied to this. An intelligently reduced use of heat, electricity and water saves resources and also reduces pressure on local authority budgets. The specialist conference once again provides an opportunity to present and discuss intelligent and creative processes along with practical examples from municipal climate protection. The focus of this year’s event will be on action alliances relating to municipal energy management.
