10 June 2014 - IEA EBC Technical Day: "Energy Technologies for the Great Transformation"

Project Management Jülich is organizing a conference focusing on the results of national and international research on the field of technologies for energy efficiency and the integration of renewable energy sources in buildings, quarters and communities. It is intended to accelerate an exchange of thoughts between the program of the International Energy Agency and the national scientific community. The conference will be held in English.

Energy efficiency and new energy technologies are key elements of the energy revolution. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy presents the latest energy research results, and demonstrates how innovations in heating networks and decentralised energy systems in buildings, cities and communities can help reduce the energy consumption.

7-8 May 2014 - Status seminar of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy – “Research for energy-efficient heating and cooling networks”

The status seminar will deal with various key topics of the EnEff:Wärme research initiative and present initial project results. It will take place as part of the 21st "Energieeffizienz 2014" trade fair and AGFW Conference, and was developed by AGFW-Projekt-GmbH in cooperation with Project Management Jülich and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

14-15 January 2014 - EnEff:Stadt Conference 2014

The first EnEff:Stadt Conference in January 2012 in the Old Main Customs Office (Altes Hauptzollamt) in Hamburg offered the around 300 participants a mixture of policy discussions, the latest practice-related findings from the ongoing EnEff:Stadt and EnEff:Wärme research projects as well as visionary ideas. The second EnEff:Stadt Conference is already on the horizon. It will take place on 14 and 15 January 2014 at the conference centre belonging to the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy in Berlin and, in addition to the latest project experiences, it will present analyses on central themes and issues relating to BMWi’s research initiatives.
