September 4-7, 2016 - The 15th International Symposium on District Heating and Cooling - Call for papers

This biennial symposium is the major research event, and IEA-DHC the only research programme with global reach, for this technology. IEA-DHC member countries span three continents, and it is to the dynamic city of Seoul that KDHC now invites researchers from all over the world for a unique cultural and knowledge exchange. The Scientific Committee of the International Symposium on District Heating and Cooling invites researchers to submit abstracts on all aspects of District Heating and Cooling until Feb. 26, 2016.

25/26 February 2016 - Energy-Autonomous Municipalities Congress 2016

The 6th Congress for Energy-Autonomous Municipalities is being held in the conference area of the Messe Freiburg on 25 and 26 February 2016. It begins one day before the three-day Gebäude.Energie.Technik (GETEC) trade fair. The coupling with the building technology trade exhibition will enable participants to find out more about the benefits of the regional energy transition for towns and municipalities. Among other things, the congress will be reporting on commercially successful projects, implementation strategies and public participation at the local level.

10/11 November 2015 - Conference "100% Renewable Energy Regions" 2015

At the beginning of November, the national "100% Renewable Energy Regions" conference is once again taking place in Kassel. In conjunction with the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA), the organisers – AEE, deENet, DGRV, the Climate Alliance and BUND – are currently jointly developing an attractive programme for practitioners from the local and regional sectors.

11-12 November 2014 - Conference “100% Renewable Energy Regions”

The main topic of this year’s conference: successful frameworks for a decentralised energy transition in municipalities and regions.

10 June 2014 - IEA EBC Technical Day: "Energy Technologies for the Great Transformation"

Project Management Jülich is organizing a conference focusing on the results of national and international research on the field of technologies for energy efficiency and the integration of renewable energy sources in buildings, quarters and communities. It is intended to accelerate an exchange of thoughts between the program of the International Energy Agency and the national scientific community. The conference will be held in English.
